To be fair, that show is long gone. Jimmy Pitaro is getting rid of people like Jemele Hill.

I actually think their Championship coverage is a bit shite
But that’s only comparing it to their League, FA and Serie A coverage

Also adding Bundesliga next season plus already have Série A and Eredevise.

ESPN dipping their toe into Spain where they can so could see La Liga one day as well

NBC Gold is great.
But I just would have assumed the Championship coverage would be a little better

You know what i hate about ESPN, the fact that there were about 20-30 notable basketball games last night, yet you will not find a single total game highlight of any of those games on espns website or their app, but i can find out what Stephen A thinks about somethign that happen in one of the games, or if Max thinks the Bucks can win 70 games.

It would be nice if they would get back to simple 1-2 minute videos of the actual highlights of the game. That is literally what sportscenter was in the 90's. No i have to watch 5 videos of "blah blah blah posterizes blah blah blah" and it's just a normal dunk, and then "blah blah skys for the incredible dunk" and its a normal dunk, and then "Lebron and AD combine for 59 points" as if that's some sort of highlight when the fact of the matter is their team lost the game.
Just show me the fricking highlights of the fricking game. You can still leave all the other stupid shite that the rest of the dumbasses in this country like to consume, but could you just have a few videos for us normal people that show what actually happened in the game?

Why would they? Clips/highlights are posted on twitter almost as the plays happen.

People are consuming all of this elsewhere, essentially for free. Why would ESPN spend money to produce a product that people already have in the palm of their hand?

Atleast more than one game per timeslot.
We get better coverage from Sun Belt women's basketball.

Good maybe they'll lower their cable fees.

What do you think that would mean for college television rights fees, Karl?

As in per-team payouts...

They have nothing to offer that people can't get elsewhere other than games they broadcast through contract.

Their writing is shite, radio is shite, original programming is shite.

well i'm not 16 so i don't have IG or Twitter.

And are you telling me there are full highlights of the game there? I didn't say highlights like what Westbrook wore to the game, i said a full game highlight, that actually shows how the game played out.
If so, then why aren't those highlights anywhere on the the ESPN app?

if all local sports teams and MNF was on regular over air channels as it always was before espn, then espn would already be bankrupt and off the air
