They "ain't" cutting Melrose in the middle of the playoffs

Probably not, but cutting Werder right before the draft is pretty surprising

Might as well change the name Sports Center while you are at it, sounds too white.

SC6 is definitely more cultural sounding.

No idea why Hockey gets the treatment it gets

Hockey is more likely to attract affluent viewers who actually have money to buy shite that advertisers advertise.

Keep going after that broke NBA demo

@PierreVLeBrun Well folks, as you can tell by my new Twitter handle, I was also among the cuts today at ESPN.

@jemelehill Replying to @CollinPrice1 No

A perfect example of how ESPN has fricked itself. They will probably fire 50 solid contributors and keep all the shite that's making people change the channel. They should hire some more former NFL players who struggle with the English language to complete the cycle.

If I was cutting expenses the first place I would start is all of the former player analysts that periodically pop in for four days a month. ESPN has them under contract, flies them to Conn, puts them up in their ESPN Hotel on campus and pays them per diem to sit on a set and give their opinion.

People like Antonio Davis, Darren Woodson, etc that are good at their job but refuse to live in Conn and only appear sporadically. The costs to have these guys on the payroll and appear on the network must be astronomical.

Are they even considered ESPN employees that need to be fired? 99% of those guys are seasonal. I think they only get paid when they appear on TV/Radio. ESPN could simply stop using them.

ESPN staff is likely majority white. Why are people up in arms that white people are being fired?

Good luck ESPN by doubling down and going all in on the African American demographic. Might as well change the name Sports Center while you are at it, sounds too white.

white folk are cutting the cord with cable, guessing that isn't happening nearly as frequently among cultural folk.
