The only time I catch any of SC6 is the gym and its just so bad
Same. Gave the show two chances on the treadmill.
First watch, Hill goes from commercial to commercial talking about athlete breakups and her own personal breakup stories. She has this weird habit of stopping her thought because shes about to get "too real". Very strange. I wonder if this is something she developed for TV or she's just that annoying of a person.
Second chance, they have a rapper on who's mumbling about his favorite sports teams and you can tell he knows nothing about them then they switch the conversation to shoes.
Bottom of the barrel TV

What could ESPN do to gain your viewership at 6pm central?
Broadcast an MLB game that's starting at 7 Eastern.
That's about it.

Basically what I experienced the first time I watched. Bottom of the Barrel is Entertainment Tonight and SC6 is worse.

ESPN seemed to heavily invest in soccer coverage, in my opinion to try and cater to white liberals whom they were not getting, as well as minorities, specifically Hispanics
But does anyone actually watch soccer. Seems like they cover it far more than hockey.
Investing in soccer makes a lot of sense from a casual perspective. I think MLS is on a slow burn and so putting tons of money towards a league that won't come into its own for a while may not be wise, but more general soccer commentary and enhancing coverage of major European leagues makes sense to me.

Did you know ESPN rating are declining, so perhaps they should consider that their current strategies aren't working.

Does ESPN have MLB broadcast rights?

So basically espn just said "screw hockey"? Seems like they've been saying that for a while.
Posted on 4/26/17 at 10:03 am to goldennugget
One of the things espn has ALWAYS done great is soccer. Their coverage of the last 3-4 world cups and the champions league going back to the early 2000s has been excellent. I dread fox taking over.

Other ESPN personalities are seeing their roles "significantly reduced," a person with knowledge of the situation told The Hollywood Reporter. They include Baseball Tonight's Karl Ravitch, ESPN Radio's Ryen Russillo and Hannah Storm, who has been a mainstay at ESPN for a decade and hosted various iterations of flagship SportsCenter,
On the Ryen front. He's currently on vacation. On his last day Thursday he said it's something that "just came up" and also mentioned something about house hunting. Idk if these two instances correlate but reading the tea leaves and Danny's cryptic tweet...something is unfortunately up. I'm scared af right now. Love Ryen and consider him the second best NBA analyst at that network (behind Lowe)

They have some. I know they still have the Sunday night game, and they used to always have a Wednesday night double header, although I don't know if they still do that.
