So little traffic in this thread is surprising. If this was an Lsu story I guarantee that the ags and gumps would be discussing ad nauseum.

JFF might crash, he might not. But A&M will have a good enough team either way to beat OUs arse to a pulp again this year.

I think the most delusional people are the ones that think it will only be a 2-4 game suspension.

NCAA will either get him and get him gone for good, or they wont get him at all

Were talking 6 figures here. Thats blatant rule breaking (a major rule as well) and theres no handler to take the fall. And when money is involved, it correlates to your eligibility as a college player, not as a disciplinary off the field incident like a DUI, Bar fight, or whatever. Theres no slap on the wrist for this

And if he plays keep away until next years tax season (like some in here have suggested) hes putting A&M at risk and anything he does this year could be stripped. Can you imagine if they won the title with him and then it came out that he shouldve been ineligible this whole time?

How about his autograph brokers selling him out?

Damn, the guy does your autographs then you film/record the conversations and pictures without his knowledge so you can rat him out later

I agree if he gets got for 5 or 6 figures he's done for good, but where do you see 6 figures?

I believe you, I just haven't seen that figure myself. Even if its 5 he would probably be gone unless its low 5 figures and the NCAA would let his family write a check.

The brokers whipping up demand for those autographed items.

I think it was filmed for authenticity. Again, so the broker can get a better price. Always comes down to money.

Dont care for JFF but the guy was a douche for videoing it then giving/selling it to ESPN but refused to talk to the NCAA

MIAMI -- The NCAA is investigating whether Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel was paid for signing hundreds of autographs on photos and sports memorabilia in January, "Outside the Lines" has learned. Two sources tell "Outside the Lines" that the Texas A&M quarterback agreed to sign memorabilia in exchange for a five-figure flat fee during his trip to Miami for the BCS National Championship Game. Both sources said they witnessed the signing, though neither saw the actual exchange of money.

I misread it somewhere as 6 but 5 figures is still enough to doom him.
