Call it what it is, video games

They sell out every arena they hold a tournament at now. The game is popular in the U.S., Europe, China, and Korea. There is a growing scene in Turkey, Eastern Europe, and South America.

This would probably get a lot better ratings than WNBA and women's softball.

This is a smart move for ESPN. Seems a little steep price-wise, but it's a GIGANTIC industry, and kids eat that shite up. Most kids I know spend hours watching other people play stupid video games on youtube. Like literally hours upon hours of watching some idiot "play" Minecraft. It's the weirdest thing, but kids are mesmerized by that shite.
And ESPN needs to do something to garner a young demographic market. This is one of their big plays apparently. And competitive gaming is only getting bigger and bigger.

I still can't comprehend the concept that people record their video game playing for their personal use.
I can't adapt to this new esport thing
