You knew it was going to get good, but at the end of this video ESPN is explaining that voters can rig their Harris Poll votes (i.e. put Ohio State outside of the top 5) and not have to worry about losing their vote or retaliation because there won't be a Harris Poll next year.

All the voters who want to see OSU in the championship leave Auburn off.

just sounds like espn was telling edwards to tell the people how to screw over OSU so that there will be so much talk about it the ratings will be through the roof

The human vote is a subjective vote for who they believe to be the best two teams in the country.

There will always be controversy...next season will not change it.

Besides the MNF game last night, I can't stand to watch that network. They have been openly pushing the politics for SEC over Ohio State agenda.

Yea I lol'd there. And I'm not sure Ole Miss, A&M and UGA are better than Wisconsin. They had a bad loss last week, but aside from that they have lost to a top 5 OSU team and a top 15 ASU team both on the road. Iowa to me is a mirror image of A&M, win all the games you should, lose all the games to good teams (losses to NIU, Wisky, MSU and OSU)

I look at it as this:

Bama win and LSU loss cancel each other out. The Bama win is great, but losing a game is obviously what is keeping them out now, so it has to weigh in heavily

UGA/A&M compare to Wisky and Iowa however you want.

After that, it's just crap everywhere. People say Ole Miss is good, and I guess they're ok, but how much better than a Penn State team are they, if at all?

OSU played 4-5 teams coming off of bye weeks in the middle of the year, while Auburn had a bye week before Ole Miss and Bama, and played a crap team before A&M. I'm not sure how people interpret that but I think it has to impact how effective teams are healthwise and mentally wise

Auburn has one loss and 2 victories courtesy of fluke plays. No chance I vote them in over an undefeated team. Period.

But... what if Missouri wins?

Their only loss is to a top 10 South Carolina team in double overtime.

Their best win would be Auburn by far, which is a better win than anything Ohio State could claim.

I really want Ohio State to lose. If they win and don't get it, it's kind of a crime.
