LSU - Alabama Game is on ABC Saturday Night for those of us with Youtube TV .

I was hoping they would have this fixed by this weekend but it doesn't look promising

If you have ESPN plus (not ESPN unlimited) which I assume most with YTTV do to watch college basketball and college baseball, you should be able to watch the ABC games on the ESPN app, which you can download to your TV and don't have to cast. At least you could last week, because I watched all the ABC SEC games through this avenue

I made the switch today to Hulu Live/Disney/ESPN Bundle.

I don't care about "giving in to what Disney wants". I'll save money by getting Disney + (for my kids) for free rather than paying monthly while getting the new ESPN APP for less than I'm currently paying for Youtube TV.

I tried to do that last weekend, and got the message that the game wasn't part of my package.

I have the ESPN App and pay for ESPN+ to watch Cajuns football (yeah...I know...I enjoy punishment) and college baseball. But if I try to watch ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU stuff on the app, it tells me I can't. Even before those channels got booted off my YouTubeTV. Always had to watch via YouTubeTV app.

Is there something I'm maybe not doing right?

Same scenario for me. I was not able to get ABC games through ESPN app with an ESPN+ account

Which is total horseshite and a pita considering ABC content is free via an over the air antenna

Other than assuming paying for the ESPN+ service will get you all ESPN content, you arent doing anything wrong.

ESPN/DIsney is the scum of the earth. They sell you an inferior product, with an inferior quality picture and then take 15% of that product and place an advertising ticker at the bottom further diminishing the picture quality to do so. At annoying random intervals they tell you that their network shown telecasts are not part of your package and you need to subscribe to a traditional cable service to access those games. They also have separated the SEC Network and SEC Network+ into separate subscriptions. SEC+ requires a cable subscription, SEC Network does not. Most of the time. Other times it will randomly tell you you do not have access to either.

Logging on to another device? Relogging on to your original device requires jumping thru a half dozen screens and reentering passwords, usually with a 70% success rate the first time due to the absolute shiitty app design.

They are the streaming service version of a tenement slumlord. They are likely protected in the small print of the service agreement. but that does not make it morally correct.

I would rather NOT be having to subscribe to an iptv service as it just adds yet another app to deal with to watch sporting events I have already paid to watch but it does simplify the process.

There are some nanny morons on here that claim you are "stealing" by using one, but I am still waiting for someone to show me the law/statute I am violating by utilizing that service

Hint: The onus of legality is on the provider not the subscriber. That is in the fine print of the law that iptv's use to provide material, regardless of the he morality of the service. Sound familiar?

This is exactly what is wrong with ESPN and their entire business model. By just about every other definition when buying a product, the "plus" is implied as an upgrade to mean everything in the basic package PLUS more content. Not to those fricksticks.

When you go from a standard package to premium package on a new car, you safely assume you still get the seats along with the seat warmer. When some fatass super sizes his meal at McDonalds, he gets the original amount of fries PLUS more fries.

ESPN does this for one reason. They have a virtual monopoly on sports content.

For those that don’t wanna cancel YTTV because of Sunday Ticket just know that you can watch Sunday Ticket via regular YouTube. Just have to make sure you are signed in on YT with YTTV credentials.

Did this last weekend. I paused YTTV and just added Hulu TV because of Bundle.

That’s what I can’t 100% figure out, so ESPN3 is also the same as ABC and sling has ESPN3 so I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to do a day pass and watch lsu
