I am not sure what to think about this as the XFL was bad but entertaining at the same time.

It gave people chances to resurrect a career, see Tommy Maddox.

Two things the XFL did right......the 'coin flip' (pictured below) and having cameras in the cheerleaders locker rooms.

Ventura was the sideline reporter and would go interview the coaches during the game

This league is the only reason we have sky cam and many other things that we take for granted in watching football today. Bad football but entertaining as hell.

It was easy to trash the XFL when it went bust. It always bugged me that it never received any credit for the broadcast elements it pioneered.

The NFL picked at the carcass and patted itself on the back as the brainchild of these elements.
