Well apparently people were bringing Ewing effigies in the 80's sooo . . . Didn't know he had to go thru that

But then we get footage of Ewing choking someone. Seems like Georgetown should have their own 30 for 30 by now

a la "It's All About The U" about Miami football in roughly that same time frame

This could have been 3 hours and everyone would have been okay with it. They're doing a, "Big East Extra" on ESPNU right now

I wish they would have had a segment on the whole Allen Iverson (Georgetown) vs. Ray Allen (UConn) match up.

They should really just have an "Old Big East" Tournament at the beginning of each season in MSG. Invite 12 teams. Doesn't have to be the same teams every year, but it would be a huge draw. Much bigger than the Preseason NIT brings. Only stipulation is that you have to currently be in the Big East, or have in the past.

I think it would be awesome.

Would be awesome to watch and attend. It appeals to the entire CBB audience IMO. It would work financially. It would be great for the NYC area and MSG...

...but egos would get in the way.

And it would be a big deal to win.

The ACC probably wouldn't allow Louisville, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse to be in it.

I'd watch the shite out of it, though. There needs to be more tournaments at the beginning of the season that actually matter.

Listening to the guys in the documentary, I think they would love this. It's really going to come down to the administration at the respective schools who may not be as emotionally attached to the Big East

Maybe it doesn't have to be a tournament, but just a game between all of the teams where opponents rotate every year.

Yeah even though it isn't a tournament, but the addition of Champions Classic has been awesome. Rotating games between Kentucky, Duke, Kansas, and Michigan State.

I know Cal said they are working on a similar with UCLA and some other schools
