Yeah I agree.
On a different note, I wonder how they'll portray the bodies on TV when it airs. Haven't seen part 4 yet but if it's as bad as I've heard I'd imagine there will be alot of pressure to keep it off of the air.

There's evidence that there was a little bit more going on than him just returning a pair of glasses. He hung out with Nicole Simpson socially, they were seen at clubs together and he was spotted driving her Ferrari around ton. After he left the restaurant to return the glasses left behind by her mother he stopped by his apartment to shower first, even though her condo was only a few minutes from the restaurant. Most of this is common knowledge but at the 1999 Rose Bowl an LAPD officer in our group enlightened us with stuff that was not widely-known about the case- including some of the men she was messing around with- two of whom were Goldman and Marcus Allen.

Me too. There was also some profanity (MFers, a-hole) and full-frontal nudity in Part 5 that will not make it on regular cable.

ok. I ASSURE everybody on here that another double murder was committed within three weeks aftr or before what O.J. did... I don't care about skin color...There were a bunch of killings in 1994.. Probably a black killing two whites or A white killing two blacks... BUT The suspect was NOT O.J......Why is this POS STILL getting publicity???? YES IMO ESPN/ABC is trying REAL hard to cause a race war with this bullshite... The dude killed two people and got off... Well maybe.... O.J. was ALL about O.J. he has said it was HER that caused HER death.... Its NEVER been POOR LITTLE O.J.'s fault...

Given what we know about Ferman and general bizarreness of the case, is it a surprise that black people thought he should get off?
If your entire American history was getting railroaded by the gov't what would make OJ any different?

Not in the least. I was referring to slack's specific question about how people could believe he hacked them to death and still be celebrating. I don't think most black people believed he actually did it.
I watched the trial and genuinely believed that there was reasonable doubt, especially if you look at it in the context or through the lens of the racial powder keg that was LA. This was status post NWA and all of those ridiculous racist LAPD incidents leading up to the trial.
Looking back at the evidence now, it seems silly that he was found not guilty. But it was the perfect storm for an acquittal.

It's a fascinating story for people under the age of 35 to watch. I was a little kid when it happened, just remember the car chase stuff, and I hadn't been able to take my eyes of this show. I had read bits and pieces here and there about the case, but had no clue about a lot of the stuff shown.
And the only any this would "start a race war" is if blacks and white were still split on guilty or not guilty. And polls show that's not the case anymore. If anything this would cause blacks to turn against OJ by showing how he pretty much wanted to be white

You haven't watched one second of this series, have you?
Because if you had, you would know OJ comes off looking like exactly what he is - an arrogant, violent, creepy, a-hole and a criminal who got away with double murder.
Oh, and it also includes BLACK PEOPLE (OMG) who openly speak about his violent history. And his history of manipulation to get what he wants. AND HIS GUILT.
Anyone that sees "trying to start a race war" in this documentary sees it because that's what they want to see.
