Makes sense.

Please explain what Curt did wrong and why the hell he must apologize. What should he apologize for? Telling the truth is now unacceptable?

So ESPN's official stance with Curt's suspension is that ESPN doesn't believe Muslim terrorists are comparable to Nazis? If that's true, how does ESPN explain the widely embraced Muslim admiration of Nazi Germany and Hitler? How does ESPN explain Iran's very public admiration of Nazi Germany?

What did Curt do wrong?

So you're saying ESPN is wrong for not wanting its brand associated with the comparison of a religion to Nazis? Have you ever heard of a thing called business?

Yes. That's exactly right. ESPN was concerned that Curt had hurt ISIS' feelings.

This was hard to comprehend.

But I didn't realize that Iran was the official spokesperson of the Muslim religion.

They're a business, he should have used his brain. He's a representative of their brand and said something they don't want associated with their brand.

1) Yes ESPN is 100 percent wrong

2) When did calling out Muslim terrorists suddenly equate to offending an entire religion...unless of course you're saying an entire religion embraces their extremists? Are you telling me that ESPN doesn't know the difference between Muslim terrorism and Islam the religion?

He only mentioned extremest and nazis...so one of them is the concern.

You really think they're worried about the feelings of the extremists?

He called out the entire Muslim religion. That's the point of the ONLY being a different color.

Just like Germany as a country was responsible for what their extremists did.

Since Nazis are old news, I'd have to guess that ESPN takes issue with the word extremists.

Does that mean ESPN doesn't believe the Muslim terrorists who behead, mutilate, rape, and burn people are extremists?

Does that mean ESPN doesn't believe that terrorists who throw gay men off tall buildings are in fact extreme?

If that's the case, and ESPN's official stance is to embrace Muslim extremism, ESPN is now at odds with the LGBT community. How will ESPN explain their hatred of Bruce Gender now that they support the people who want to kill people like Bruce Gender?

Yea, that's exactly what it means

Crazy how you can try and read more into ESPN's decision while completely ignoring the context of Curts...

STOP WATCHING THEIR bullshite. I stopped watching a LONGGGGG time ago, and as time as passed, that decision just looks better and better everyday. They bank on their cable royalties. Its time to cut them down like the pieces of shite they are. They make a bunch of uselss noise, and tell us nothing we cant get from other news sources. End them.

The tweet isn't about terrorists. It implies that more and more Muslims will radicalize. It paints regular people as potential extremists and compares them to Nazis. Of course that's controversial. In the other thread, posters went straight to the Middle East when thinking about Muslims, but there is a significant population of law-abiding American citizens who are Muslims, including in the military. The tweet isn't disparaging ISIS or people "over there," it's about the family down the street or your friend in the office.
