That guy Luckett was also on the hot seat about 10 years ago and I think was run out of the league.

He's the one who blew the Jerome Bettis OT coin toss, then had another coin incident like the next week and a couple of horrible game-altering calls on top of it.

Luckett was demoted the next year.

If you've ever heard the audio of that coin flip, Bettis DID say "head..uh..tails quickly. Luckett went with his first call.

I wonder when he will be fired. Has blows 4 major calls this year in which the team he screws looses 3 of them.

So you take what Joey freaking Porter says in a post game interview as truth???

And what were the other 3 calls?

Please don't tell me you're putting the Reggie bush facemask as one of the 4 plays.

Broncos/Chargers game - cost Chargers the game
cost the Panthers a clear TD the next week with his quick whistle (again)
Saints game was an abortion - the Reggie fumble/facemask, the Adrian Peterson fumble, and the "even though the Vikings defender was lined up in the neutral zone, this does not excuse the false start by the New Orleans lineman" piece of bullshite call that cost us a shot at a key 1st down. A neutral zone infraction by its very nature overrides any other pre-snap motion penalty.

yes, porter was bitching about how there was no replay on that particular play and he's convinced that it would have been a fumble if there was one

Actually, it doesn't. The False start overrides any other pre snap motion penalty. That's why the play is blown dead as soon as a false start happens. The guy couldn't have been in the neutral zone when the ball was snapped, because the ball was never snapped. The play was dead as soon as the false start occurred.

Now if he jumps causing the lineman to false start that's another thing, but being lined up in the neutral zone is different.

We have been screwed by a couple of bad calls. The offsides in the Denver game I can live with because we still blew the field goal. The Minnsota game however was not just one call, it was about 4 or 5. With 2 of them being huge turnovers. I think Hochuli stated Peterson's knee was down mostly due to the fact they blew the whistle when McKenzie would have returned it for a touchdown. Much easier to give the ball back to Minnesota than to have to admit blowing the whistle again to early like in the SD vs. Den game.

So you basically blame EVERY bad call in a game that Hochuli officiates on him right? Even though some of those calls he has absolutely nothing to do with.

Cool.
