John DePodestas computer predicted this. Precisely why the Browns took a “hard pass” on Wentz.

Seattle has an elite QB as does Green Bay. I remember when the media and everyone blew their wads when the Pack won it in 2010 and predicted a dynasty since Rodgers was so young. They haven't been back since.

Nothing is guaranteed and eventually they'll have to pay him big bucks.

Do you need Cowherd to tell you who is good or not?

I like you a lot, so I'm not trying to be a dick. But you're NUTS if you don't see how good this guy is.

I responded to someone basically asking if it was worth it to go get Wentz.

The answer is hell yes

I agree he's good. But I would think by now we would learn to let these guys actually perform before assuming they are the next big thing

Cam, Carr, and Ryan are very recent examples of having these awesome seasons and they struggle to keep pace in the following seasons.

We crown these guys too quickly and when they don't meet the expectations we quickly throw in the towel

To automatically assume he's gonna be an elite level guy for 12 years after a 12 game stretch is bananas and is just the same trap that everyone falls prey to every season

He's that good, man.

You're forfeiting the right to like him in 7 years. I'm gonna do my best to remember this and then call you out in 2024

Damn if he predicted Wentz would tear his left ACL on a QB sneak in the 3rd quarter against the Rams can he do lottery numbers?

he went balls to the wall going into the endzone. took on 2 defenders heads up. one was a LB

he got crushed

On a useless play that was called back for holding.

Paul. His name is Paul Depodesta. But I get your point. The rule of thumb is that you never trade away an opportunity to draft a potential franchise QB unless you already have a QB in place. The year before, the Titans turned down a boatload of picks to draft Mariota which was the correct thing to do. When there is a top QB available in the draft, teams have to draft them unless they're absolutely sure they're going to be a bust. Teams can't win long-term without a franchise QB in place in this league.
