It's interesting now, because the baiters were calling Stern a racist when he came out with the dress code. It's funny how the players have now truly embraced it.
Stern has had a few controversies in his tenure. Ewing to Knicks was the second biggest one. He was known to be a dictator and rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

Rome used to rustle Sterns jimmies hard by asking him when he was going to fold the WNBA.

stern turned out to be the best commish...he was slimy, but he made no bones about it...listen to him going at it with jim rome. You think roger goodell could be natural like that?
anyway, someone will warp wade's comments into
"yes, da massa dun showd us how ta look clean"

I agree 100%.
These guys are/were professionals---there was no legitimate reason for those guys to wear unprofessional attire to work.

Even I will say that someone will race bait this.
I've always said this: stern has churned out more black millionaires than another company in the world/in history. He has done a lot for the black men and the advancement of black people. the college rule would actually help out black men but hey don't tell that to the race batters. Like knowing what to do with millions of dollars or how to act maturely is racist ...
