What if Wade is up there to convince Lebron to come back to Miami, oh the melt here would be so glorious.
Posted on 7/5/16 at 8:05 am to LSU-MNCBABY
Lebron wants to win too much to do that

im sorry but wade/lebron lack of 3 pt shooting isnt a good matchup vs a team with 4 bombers like steph/klay/KD/draymond
Didn't they just prove basically this scenario incorrect? GS would have no bigs and would get their shite pushed in on the inside. I would attack attack attack. No one would be able to stop it.

People trying way too hard to sound smart. Hall of famer coming off a great year taking just a few mil to sign? Ehhh, I worry about the spacing.

KD might not even fit with the Warriors and they don't even have a serviceable center. Let's not crown them yet.
To me this is so overblown. Most team don't have a serviceable center, much less a center at all. The nba has gone away from the traditional back to the basket big man at the 5. Some of the best big men in the league are on the worst teams. By the third round of the playoffs the 2 best bigs were Steven Adams and Bismack biyambo.
The Warriors are so loaded 1-4 with elite backup guards that they will be fine with a few retread big men signed in FA
Edit- Cleveland didn't beat them with a dominant big man, they beat them with lebron James asserting himself as by far the best player in the world

what were rebound stats for each team in that series? Asking because i dont know.

It's not about having a guy who can post up. It's about having someone who can protect the rim and keep the other team from dominating the boards.
Golden Statte got pushed hard by Lebron and scrubs two years ago because of this and just lost this past finals because of this.
People were killing Kerr for having Ezeli in at the end of game 7 but he had to try someone to prevent an assault on the rim and the glass.
The advantage for GS will be simply out scoring teams.

The issue was bogut was injured, not that bogut didn't exist. Bogut fricking blows but he can be replaced via free agency. Even before the injury he wasn't averaging big minutes.

Zaza can get rebounds, hit FTs at a good clip, and most importantly stay healthy. Idk if he has the passing skills of Bogut though.

Yeah it definitely wasn't Thompson grabbing all the rebounds that beat them either.

Not sure Wade is the one to match what GS has going on. I have loved his game for a long time, but I feel this would be more Gary Payton/Karl Malone to Lakers than Durant to Warriors. It could potentially cause a rift with Irving who is Cleveland's most important long term piece and also doesn't give you a guy that can spot up and nail 3's. D would be better and having another guy attacking a perimeter team is great. Could Wade stay healthy and would he accept being 3rd on the pecking order?

You're not getting my point. Bogut was on the roster and got injured and couldn't be replaced.
He can be replaced via FA

Yes because 3 point shooting was the difference in who won the title this year

Actually it was. If Barnes doesn't go 5-40 over the last 3 games the Warriors win.
Oh btw the Warriors replaced Barnes with one of the 3 best players on the planet.

Bogut was a pretty damn good passer and rebounder and fit GS really well for that reason.
He has solid court vision and kicked it outside at some opportune times.
9/12/4 the last 2 years is very solid.

stats are wrong...my bad.

Except those aren't his stats. He averaged 6 points and 7 boards and 2.5 assists.
