He's averaged 37 points his past 11 games, and he's doing it shooting over 50%.

Kobe scored 50 or more 5 games in a row a few years ago. Who cares if durant scored 45 a few times in a month.

I was waiting for you to post

Durant is the thunder...without him they don't make the playoffs...it's unreal what he's doing right now(shooting wise)

My boy Aldridge another monster night though...29-15+?

Not too shabby either...the MVP should def come down to these 2. Lebron will probably continue skating thru the season with 30 or so a night and play less min than in years past so come playoff time the heat will win another championship. It's smart basketball.

Unreal what durant is doing though..#lightemup

Looks like LBJ is KD-sessed:

quote:

James knew Durant's statistics from Tuesday's game and recited them verbatim to the media after a win by the Miami Heat over the Boston Celtics. "I got a KD watch on my phone," James said.

I haven't liked a player as much since Jordan. I hope his string of MVPs and NBA titles are soon to follow.

I know Lebron is still Lebron and he still does Lebron-like things. But i think this year the MVP award should go to KD. He is playing on another level right now. He received alot of criticism after last years playoffs for his play without Westbrook. Its obvious he has been on a mission to prove everyone wrong. KD is undoubtedly the 2nd best player on the planet, and the best scorer on the planet. Give KD his MVP, he deserves it!

He's playing angry this year and I love it.

That edge is what's really allowing him to take it to the next level.

Mr. Nice Guy KD died in the offseason.

Too many kids on this board to care what they think. LeBron is a badass but he'll never be or pass Jordan. Especially with KD there to hurt Brons chances of winning more titles than MJ. And the people who hate on KD don't make sense to me.

I'll be flogged for saying this, but with a completely healthy Westbrook, I do not see OKC losing to Miami this year.

Unless their very productive bench of Jackson, Lamb, and Adams completely fall off the table.
