Pretty cool video. My initial thoughts were damn Chicago is trashy AF but the video turned it around.

When did they renovate the clubhouse?

That thing used to be an average HS locker room.

Rickets has spent big money on the stadium and surrounding areas. You wouldnt recognize the East side grounds… if they can just do the same on the south side up to the L, it would be phenomenal

The video made Wrigley look damn good all around.

I want to add that as a Braves fan, watching it a second time made me realize how much I miss Boog Sciambi.

I used to live at 3725 Fremont Street and we used to walk a couple blocks to the games with a bunch of beers in hand on 2 dollar tickets and sit anywhere we wanted in the place and it did not have any bullshite video screens and nonsense

That was in 2011

So the twitter guy is wrong. I’m sure the cubs took every precaution but you can fly a lightweight drone over people as long as the rotating parts are covered.

Learned something new. Not a drone pilot but google is my friend!

Amazing video!

Went to the Cubs Giants game before the LSU Wisconsin game on Friday afternoon and felt like I stepped into a time machine. It was awesome. I love Chicago.

Less than a decade ago they didnt even have a video board in the place

Its times square now

You missed the time machine by a couple years

It was truly horrible yet amazing in the ability to just walk in and do whatever you wanted right off the street

Now its sad and corporate

Last time I went to a game at Wrigley was in 2018 and it was basically still "old school Wrigleyville". While that drone is a amazing and some of the surrounding area looks kind of cool, your description seems very appropriate.
