Without a jumper, he's totally useless in the NBA. He won't last more than a couple years, if that.

His offensive game just doesn't translate to the NBA and he's too slow and unathletic to play defense.

The same argument was made about Big Baby and look at his NBA career.

To a lesser extent Tyler Hansbrough, who was able to hang around the NBA for 8 years and is currently playing overseas.

I’m not saying Timme is going to be a great pro, but guys like him going into the league and developing skills that allow them to stay on rosters is not unheard of

F timme. He’ll be nothing in the nba. Just and overrated white 40 year old man

As opposed to Tshibwe or Bacot?

I genuinely don’t understand why so many college basketball players who happen to be white are often so hated.

Timme:
-doesn’t play dirty
-outstanding player
-dragged his team through the UCLA matchup
-has never been in trouble
-never shared any controversial views

Despite his success and clean history, I’ve heard so many people run him down it’s crazy.

When it was happening with Duke players I understood it because Duke is hated.

But when I ask people “why do you hate Timme?” they have no idea.

I don’t think it’s racism exactly because a lot of the people who do it are white.

Regardless if he’s a future NBA all star or not, he’s good enough to be on an NBA roster. Timme will have an 8 year NBA career and make over $100 million

Strangely specific details for such a dumb prediction.

His main weakness is like most of the current big men in the NBA. How will he be able to guard the pick and roll with the crazy athletic guards and wings in the NBA.

He will have to continue to excel with offensive game in the post, his rebounding, and be able to shoot 3pt shots effectively to stay in the league. That is basically the criteria for any big man.

Why do people act like Timme stole their lunch money?

b/c while he's a goofy looking, seemingly unathletic white dude, much like a majority of the board here the critiques him, he's a great college basketball player, who is setting all-time records at his school and putting his name among other all time great college basketball players....

simply put, envy...

Not even comparable, because both hansborough and Davis came into the league way before the NBA turned into a 3 point shooting contest.

Davis is significantly larger than timme, and could bang with NBA bodies. Hansborough was a better college player, and was longer and more athletic than timme.

Timme looked like he was in slow motion against uconn last night; it would be exponentially worse against NBA players.

Maybe 20 years ago. There is no place in todays game for post up players unless you are a freak of nature like Embiid or Jokic.

He seems to not have much of a 3pt shot. I don’t see him making a roster

I thought it was the mustache celebration that he did in the 2021 tournament.

If he graduated in 2019 then he played a standard 4 years. Crazy what the 1 and done has done to college basketball when people who play their 4 years like Timme or Perry Ellis or Armando Bacot are seen as these fixtures who never graduate.

Right! Dude it’s22 years old what is the problem?
