You’ve resorted to arguing about “luck”

Why is it never Offense’s or CSP fault for blowing leads or running time? It’s been shown many times CSP ego gets the best of him and won’t do the run the ball thing in the past.

uh...they're on the sidelines?

That statement tells me you know nothing about football theory
If you’re up by 10 with 10 left you don’t go out throwing or 3 and out only taking 1 minute off each time.
So yes the offense blew the lead by not doing what it needed to do.

No I do
I just like football reality better

Brees had a fantastic career. certainly some unlucky breaks that kept him from more Super Bowl appearances
Posted on 1/23/21 at 9:40 pm to NawlinsTiger9
You don’t know reality either

So he holds the ball for a long time and scored a lot of points. I’m seriously at a loss at exactly what else a QB can do

Because I know not to blame an offense for blowing late-game leads?
Okay pal

You have no clue what you’re discussing
Posted on 1/23/21 at 9:42 pm to lsupride87
when an argument hinges on "Player A performed so well at his job that it hurt his team" then it's probably a shite argument
Posted on 1/23/21 at 9:43 pm to lsupride87
What’s the split in those lost leads? What’s the splits for the entire 2nd half as well?
Posted on 1/23/21 at 9:43 pm to NawlinsTiger9
Huh who is arguing that? You are out of your league here

You are one that has spreadsheets. I asked a question. You always have facts to back everything. But you seem to not known what constitutes a GWD or TOP splits. Actually plays run would be better than TOP splits.
Your theory now prove it when asked questions like the scientific method requires.

You're arguing like you're playing Madden and scoring is a certainty
It's not. You score when and how you can. You don't call plays as if you're presuming a failure from your defense.

No I’m not. You have no idea what I’m even discussing because out of your league and can’t read posts apparently
You may want to read posts in entirety or know who you’re posting to before making stupid assumptions like you have.
Run to win
Stop the run to win championships
So again figure out what I’m arguing it’s easy

You said this, did you not?
You're blaming the offense for not running clock instead of the defense for giving up points, correct?
Posted on 1/23/21 at 10:04 pm to NawlinsTiger9
And who gave the opposing offense time to score said points? Again you are out of your league. It’s not always the Defense in entirety. So you are up 10 you run 3 plays and out twice and give up 14 because you as an OC play caller didn’t read situation correct and just gave them more chances with more options.

quote:Unless you can show us how Brees/Payton have lost more leads for this reason than Brees's peers, then you're just making entirely irrelevant points, you do realize that, right?
