Over 5,000 yards and over 40 touchdowns, yeah talk about the pits of the NFL.

If this was the case, people smarter than you wouldn't have given him multiple fat contracts.

Moderate to humble success prior to arriving in New Orleans, a drastic drop in performance when the system is suspended for a year.

1/10.

He was a pro bowl QB in SD.

And last season was not his worst in NOLA...

Every QB is a "system" QB unless it's backyard football and you're drawing plays in the dirt. Some guys are better fits for certain systems over others, and some are more physically gifted than others, but they are all products of systems.

I don't think you're exactly "wrong" per se, but Drew did have a few very good years before he came to NOLA and although he threw a lot of picks last year he still put up good numbers. It's not quite as black and white as you're making it but on the whole there is a separation there between like a Joe Montana, Dan marino or John Elway type QB and Brees.

That's a bit of a stretch. He didn't have his best year, but it was far from a drastic drop off.

He didn't play defense.

So you think that you can just plug in any quarterback from the top 20 NFL teams (assuming that the 15-20 qbs play for one these teams) and they will put up similar/better numbers?

Nah, we're not that good. We're just part of the system.

Montana and Marino are in the same boat as far as system QBs

Brees drastic drop year is still better than anything that about 27 quarterbacks will ever dream of putting up
