drewbrees Brittany and I are committing $5,000,000 to the State of Louisiana in 2020. The priority now is helping our communities get through this tough time. After considerable research and conversations with local organizations, we will be mobilizing our partnerships with Second Harvest Food Bank, Ochsner Health Systems, Walk-Ons, Jimmy Johns, Smalls Sliders and Waitr to prepare and deliver over 10,000 meals per day throughout Louisiana for as long as it takes to children on meal programs, seniors, and families in need. Let’s all do our part, maintain hope, and get through this together.

Do you provide a link to any of the stories you post? I don't see this story anywhere.

It's on his social media, hence the use of first person

Awesome move by Brees.

Didn’t see a mention of Brady in your article though.

Donation-great!
To the government-no wonder Brees got scammed on the jewelry thing. No common sense.

(If the story is true)

Don’t get me wrong, I love Drew Brees, and it’s great of him and his family to do this. He could have just as easily done it without announcing it, though. Does he have political aspirations when he’s done playing?

Brees did it this way to encourage others to do the same. He is the polar opposite from being a media whore .

That's how you politely call out others to donate.

By announcing it, he's set the bar for other people to try to reach.

Jesus, it's never enough for some people.

Yeah, the dude gave $5 million to people in our state but he wants people to know about it!

How many touchdowns has Brittany thrown? I would gander she probably hasn't earned $20 in actual income in the last 20 years.

Now if Brady said he and Giselle were giving money... That makes a little more sense.

Imagine thinking like this.
