Burrow looks good but he has to start pushing the ball down the field

Burrow is 3rd in IAY and 7th in CAY, so it seems like that isn’t true.

Fair point.

Falcons will get Fields.

LOL. That'd be a Falcons move. I wouldn't touch him w/a 10 ft.pole when it comes to being a pro QB IMO. That Ohio St.(and going back to Meyer at UF) system does not produce pro-ready QB's.

Nobody produces NFL ready qbs. They either have it mentally or don’t.

Where do you see that? Doesn't seem accurate based on This

Patrick Mahomes came out of Texas Tech. Isn’t that the epitome of system qb school? Herbert never took a snap under center in college.

The internet.

I was talking about total yards. You’re linking to average per attempt

Oh well I mean of course has a lot of yards. he has the most attempts in the whole league. I would assume Burrow is gonna end up in the top part of every single category in terms of totals since he's gonna throw like 650 times

As has been said, QB evaluation is hit or miss. Whoever the Jets draft will inevitably be bad however.

Pat won the lottery in that Reid saw something in him that nobody else did and the fact that he is a QB whisperer and offensive genius who has always been able to meld his system to his talent. It also helped Mahomes that he was able to sit and watch for a while before finally getting to start.

I don't think he'd have nearly the success anywhere else except maybe in SF w/Shanahan.

It also doesn't hurt that the air raid that he played in takes a lot of it's passing concepts from the WCO, which is what both Reid and Shanny run.

The last 3 Iowa QB have been drafted and made the team multiple years. So there’s one. Those Iowa QB usually start multiple years and the 4th straight will be drafted when eligible.

Wisconsin and Pitt also had a run of like 5 straight starters drafted and making the roster

And Dak is very much a product of the Meyer tree and system.

Prescott played in a run heavy spread too. It’s just hard to know who will be good. I am sure circumstances help a lot. However, you still never know who will fully translate.

It’s still yards in the air.
