Doug McDermott from Creighton, is he this year's Jimmer/Morrison?

He is averaging 25+ (2nd in the nation) at a mid major team that is ranked. Should we expect the Dougie to hit the national media soon? He is blowing up and had already had multiple 30+ point games. I've seen him play and really like his game.
Any of you guys seen him play yet?

Is this because he's white?

No, it's because he can hoop and is 2nd in the nation in scoring.

Adam Morrison was the best player in the nation I highly doubt this kid is.

Dude can play. His dad is the coach.
That's crazy.

I've seen him play in person, he's the real deal.

McDermott was overshadowed in HS playing alongside Harrison Barnes.

Now here's the real question: who was actually the better high school player?

I've heard some people say he'd outscore Harrison Barnes most of the time in HS

If you want to use offensive ratings it's not even close.
Barnes: 105.7 ORate, 26% of poss, 28.4% of shots taken
McDermott: 126.7 ORate, 29.4% of poss, 37.3% of shots taken
Granted, Barnes is surrounded with greater talent so he doesn't have to carry the workload like McDermott does, but it is surprising to see just how wide the gap is on offense between the two.

Who the hell uses that formula???
I'm old school I go by points per game in basketball just like batting average in football
FWIW Dougie dropped 27 tonight vs Northwestern.
