Dont'a Hightower skips White House visit due to its repetitiveness

"Been there, done that," Dont'a Hightower said, also noting he didn't go to White House in 2014 w/ Pats. Had previously been with Alabama.
Imagine winning so many championships that you decide to skip two White House visits because it was getting boring. Hightower is just a born winner.

But is that really why?

He skipped the 2014 one too, so probably

That's his choice. Who cares

probably involves a ton of headaches/time wasted for a player.
I mean security has to be enforced like mad right

Yea, if he didn't go see Obama, then not sure why not going to see Trump is news. Just crazy the guy has won so many championships that he's just like, ah I've got better things to do.

I can see how it's a boss move, but it's also kinda douchey too. Like "I'm too good for this" in a way.
More power to him, I don't really have a problem with it.

Yeah, and it's pretty much just a quick photo op, and a waste of time. I can't blame anyone who doesn't want to do it, regardless of who the CiC is, especially if you're a pro athlete.
I'd just want to start my offseason and go on a long, celebratory vacation.

Tom is everywhere football is a thing. Like a God.

I don't believe hes going either. It would of been different if he didn't use the "Family Commitment" as the line to not visit Obama. He should of just been straight up about it.

Don't care too much either way...I personally would go every time...but do what you want.
But what I do love is that people will scream its because of Trump....then learn he didn't go in 2014

based on trumps comments before the game, about not thinking it was the Presidents job to make Super Bowl predictions.... I can imagine Trump thinking it is also a waste of time.
hopefully DOnt'a uses the free time to do whatever the frick he wants.

If he didn't got another time, I see no issue with it. And if he didn't go because of Trump, that's his decision.

I wouldn't go either regardless who was President, I'd have to take a shower just walking around DC with all the slime-balls that congregate there.

the irony in you saying this.
