The title of your thread 100% dismisses the performance of the SEC bottom feeders. It seems you'd like to not include their performances with how the real SEC does this postseason. That is fine, just be prepared to hear about it from outsiders. And good luck to the rest of your teams, I hope you will not have to start a thread about how all bowl games outside of the playoffs are meaningless exhibitions.

The SEC landed more teams in bowl games. That means that no matter what some of those teams do in their bowl games, it is still better than not going.
The argument you are making is the same argument as saying a QB that is 4-0 in the superbowl is better than a QB that is 4-2. That is just not true. The two losses are better than anything the other QB did when comparing.
Now, there is a good chance that the B1G will out perform the SEC in the remainder of the bowl season, and they might be the better conference, but you cant use the bowl results of a couple bottom feeders to judge that.

I'm not one to hinge conference success on a bowl season in the first place. Or the performance of whatever a Rutgers is, for that matter.
