You should have been enamored with the Foles season based on this post of yours.

That's funny. You admitted you use like 4 or 5 stats, now you us all the data?

You are the dumbass that said the best guys average way more than Landry has in his career. I brought you an example of why you are wrong. A guy that was named an all pro while doing so. Now we can't use him as an example because he is actually good?

I literally used your quote, if that's not what you meant, that's on you, not me.

Do better at communicating. This:
quote:

my opinion over rating, yards per game, completion percentage, touchdowns, td/int ratio
means that you're saying you use rating, yards per game, completion percentage, touchdowns,td/int ratio to judge a QB. How dare I use your actual words, so Boom of me!!!

9.0

10.5

12.1[/quot

Last year

14 games - 10.6 ypc

2 games- 30 ypc (7 catches for 211 yards)

You admitted to rejecting data, but you want me to magically assume you meant you look at more than what you told me?

You do realize how silly that sounds, correct?

Using a combination of passer rating, tds/int, yards per attempt, etc gives you Brady, Brees, Rodgers, and Ryan as the top 4 then followed by Big Ben, wilson, and others consistently. I know I can trust it
Tannehill 2016...

Passer rating: 12th
TD:INT: 20th
YPA: 6th
Completion %: 7th

What others should I add?

Tds/game

yds/game

Yards/completion

Would be a good start

ETA: TD % and INT % to those and you will have a nice pie to look at

You can play that card but you know I'm right

46 games as a 10.0 ypc WR

2 as a 30 ypc WR

Sometimes you just are what you are

While we're at it, Jarvis Landry ranks:

Catches: 8th
Yards: 10th
Yards per game: 11th
TDs: 50th
YPC: 70th

I don't think that's gonna stack up very well to the legit #1s in the league.

Tds/game

Wouldn't TD% be better? TDs per pass seems much more important than TDs per game. I'm not using Excel and doing legwork for that one when it's obvious that TD% is a better indicator.

yds/game

23rd

Wouldn't yards per attempt be better? Same as above, if you have YPA, i'm not sure why ypg matters

quote:

Yards/completion

16th

You want to bring up someone that does research on every stat and snap? Pro football focus.

They have tannehill at 18........

I hear so many mixed reviews on those guys. From what I have seen they are better than many others. I believe a NFL player called them out on twitter last year for incorrectly diagnosing what the assignment was during a play.

Lets see

brown-2,5,4,2,68

Julio-17,2,1,25,4

OBJ-3,3,5,34

Evans-6,5,6,3,30

Jordy-5,6,1,1,53

Landry-8,10,11,50,70

Those would be the consensus top 5 correct?

There are the rankings in catches---yards---yards per game--- tds-----YPC

He only gets blown out by the top 5 on tds. Interesting enough, they all are well below their standing on one stat except Julio: yards per catch

I added those in my edit. Both TD % and INT % as well

Avg ranking across all 5:

Julio 16.2
Evans 9.8
Nelson 10
Landry 29.2

I'm sure Beckham would also be in that 10 range but you only had 4 stats for him. See the difference? It's pretty sizeable.

Also, when you say he's only blown out in TDs, thus using 4 of the 5 stats, you are doing the exact thing you shot down LE for doing, using 14 of 16 games.

I think it's fair to conclude based on the stats you use that Tannehill is not below average and Landry does not belong in elite #1 category, what am I missing?

I never said he was top 5......

I believe his median and average ranking would be around 10.
