Like I said, I made it easy for me. You just show me all the guys who are legit #1s averaging 10ypc for their careers, and you got this one in the bag, easily.

How many of those guys were also averaging 65 yards per game?

Likely, none. So let me flip it around on you, find me a receiver who averaged 65 yards per game over their first 3 years who wasnt considered a legit #1

As soon as you complete my request, I'll start on it.

Still waiting...all legit #1s who averaged 10ypc.

You can't take my request, not answer it, then give me homework!!!

Also, 65 yards per game barely breaks 1000 yards. If 1000 yards is your threshold for a #1 WR, I see where our breakdown is, and we can simply agree to disagree. 65 yards per game does not make you elite. 20 WRs had 1000 yards last season, and I'm sure even more averaged 65 yards per game.

Also, what you are intentionally being obtuse about is his trend. Lets look at Landrys YPC over each season

Rookike year- 9.0

2nd Year- 10.5

3rd year- 12.1

So, do you see a trend shel?

You are litetally being boom ignoring his progression by season

12.1

Yes. So he's going to need to break 10ypc more than 1 time before we can crown him as a #1.

If he goes below 12 this season, does that mean you're wrong?

I dominate arguments when people get the facts mixed up. Shel argues just for the sake of it. We are nothing alike.

1 time, that's it.

Also, I still can't believe you think you can look at basic stats and not defer to those doing the research. That's amazing, and speaking of Boom...

No, because I am steadfast in thinking Yards per catch is an awful metric for a receiver compared to yards per game

You want to bring up someone that does research on every stat and snap? Pro football focus.

They have tannehill at 18........

Prove me wrong, give me the list of legit #1s averaging 10ypc over any 3 year span.

Too bad for you, you don't believe them, you stick with the basic stats without having to watch!!!

Also, the idea, even if other advanced sites disagree, is to at least get you thinking.

And you've 100% admitted that you do not care one bit even if I gave you 100 advanced metrics sites that agreed he was top 5, you would shun them all in favor of the basic stats. You've made that very clearly of what your opinion is, and you will disregard anything to the contrary.

SMUUUUUG

My point was we can find in depth analysis by indivduals to prove anything, which is why I choose to go by a group of hardfast stats...... I look at all those stats as well, not just one.....

I want to see hardcore stats that can be laid out, and I want to see the complete ranking list of those correlated with it

Using a combination of passer rating, tds/int, yards per attempt, etc gives you Brady, Brees, Rodgers, and Ryan as the top 4 then followed by Big Ben, wilson, and others consistently. I know I can trust it

Hypothetical

2 guys throw 15 ints. 1 throws 24 interceptable passes. The other throws 12.

Doesnt matter? Only total ints?

Remember Files's 2 int and 119 QB rating season? What were your thoughts on that season? One of the great QB seasons?

There you go again only using a couple stats.....

When you add in Foles only threw for 222yds/game, it shows why his data was skewed.......

So that, yards per game alone, overrides the QB rating td:int ratio, and everything else you previously mentioned? Yikes.

You can't call me out for selective data then do the same thing.

No, when looking at it entirely, it paints a picture. It showed Foles had a very accurate year in an offense in which he wasnt asked to do much.
