Best player of his generation.

The only player from that era that belongs in the Top 10 conversation; probably Top 8, based on performance, consistency, and longevity.

Compared to who?

He is better than Lebron, we all know that.

Look at his impact when he doesn't even demand the ball every play down court.

LeBron is a horrible player off the ball. People who think he could play without the ball in Philly are delusional.

Oh, yea, we are talking about Duncan. Best power forward in history. Best I ever seen.

No, and as a person who liked the spurs(David Robinson fan), i tended to under value his worth to the team. They don't win a single title, w/o him.

I think because he did nothing flashy, that people tend to forget him. He went out with a lunch pail and did the dirty work every game. Guys like that tend to get over looked by the guys who scored a shite load of points.

It is insane how Spurs got that 1st pick also. Robinson got injured I believe and maybe some other unfortunate events took place that allowed them to land 3rd in the lottery.

He is better than Kobe, but he didn’t make mean grimace faces and have a cool nickname so he is under appreciated from his time in the NBA to casual fans

Non mouth breathers have him around 10th all time or so

He should get respect.

He let a "friend" that is a guy live with him for eight years and didn't charge him rent, all the while catching hell from his wife (now ex-wife). I think he even let this guy stay in his bedroom on certain nights.

He even chose his friend (that is a guy) over his wife when the wife gave him an ultimatum. He should be respected.

Duncan is arguably top 10. Kobe is not.

There is zero argument for Kobe being ahead of Duncan besides cool nicknames, selfish inconsistent play, and making mean faces

That is absolutely foolish.

Do you even respect difficulty of shooting a basketball at mid-range, or from the three point line?

If you are 7 foot 2 and can shoot over people shorter than you from four feet away, is that really a talent?

He's the best player of his era. It's a joke that Kobe gets brought up but not Duncan as the torchbearer of that time period when they were contemporaries and Duncan was better.

You're talking about off the court stuff and implying a romantic relationship.

it's 2018, who the hell cares?

He owned the state Texas for nearly 20 years.

His wife cheated on him with her personal trainer. Of course she would imply that she only did it because he was gay.

Are you saying he was TIITB?

He definitely is one of the best at playing with his back to the basket.
