Since you have Sooners beside your name, lets take them.

Their Alabama win on the road is equivalent to IU's win on the road in Eugene.

In addition, OU went out of conference and beat current 15th ranked Michigan. Nothing even close to an out-of-conference equivalent for IU.

In addition, OU beat #19 Tennessee - nothing equivalent for IU.
OU also beat Missouri - currently ranked in the AP poll - again, nothing equivalent for IU.

Yeah IU is undefeated, but they haven't played anyone outside of Oregon. OU has lost - but to a team that is clearly in the playoff and one on the border.

IU's resume is not .remotely as good as OU's

Play somebody.

If Bama beats UGA they are no lower than 5.

Winner of Big 10 is the #1 seed
Winner of SEC is the #2 seed
Tech is the #3 seed
Loser of Big 10 is the #4 seed unless its a blowout.

This is not a complicated situation.
