who used to turn on Sports Center in the evening to see whats going on in the world of sports
There's any and all kinds of ways you can watch highlights at your convenience well before waiting till 6pm the next day to see what happened yesterday.

Besides live sports and Gameday
Gameday is a shadow of its past self. Would rather watch premier league games then roll straight into football.

ESPN lost me when the original NFL Primetime was replaced with some stupid condensed version.

Got through about 5 minutes once before turning it off in disgust.

I don't necessarily think what they're doing with that show is a bad idea, it's just not the right crew in place. Jemele Hill is too inflammatory and not in a way that they really want.
I think there's a type of "heat" (to use a wrestling term) that you want to have. It's the type that Skip generated where you couldn't wait to see him wrong and have to eat his words. But Hill is just the other type of heat where listening to them is like nails on a chalkboard and you just want to see them gone.
I don't object to the idea of the show as a lot of others do apparently, they just haven't executed it correctly. You put Max Kellerman and Cari Champion on, give them that show and I'd watch.

I cut the cord a long time ago. I wouldn't know about any of this crap if it wasn't for the MSB.

Jemele Hill got that X-Pac Heat.

I finally got around to watching it. I wanted to see if it's really that bad, or are people just being over dramatic. While it's not as bad as everyone on here says, it's not good either. Jemele tries sooo hard to be funny, but her jokes are cringey. She also appears to be very uncomfortable doing interviews. I don't think this show will last more than a year.

All that's missing is saying they'd interview Gary Chambers.

This saying is so fricking awful. "Omg you're talking about the biggest sports network in the world on a sports message board. They are living rent free in your head! Idiot!" Meanwhile most of us grew up literally watching the same episode of sportscenter over and over again loving every minute of it. It was something great that has slowly deteriorated into unwatchable trash that has turned everyone who loved it against it. So much so that they don't care that cutting the cord will cost them ESPN.
Anytime someone uses this living in your head cliche I just assume the person using it wasn't intelligent enough to respond with an actual thought out counterpoint. It's a lazy, ignorant response that makes you appear stupid.

The only time I have ever heard Hill and Smith together was when they were on PMT. And they even managed to make that bad.

She's just a journalist, not a particularly good one, and she's not a TV personality. Being a good TV host is a performance art and you have to actually know what you're doing.
She's not the worst I've seen on TV but again she's just too disagreeable as a person in general and add to that she's not particularly a TV personality anyway, just compounds the suckage.
