Holy hell Nix and Williams are balling out. How bad are the PAC-12 defenses?

Daniels looked terrible against them.

Pac 12 defenses don't exist. Every QB in the pac 12 has inflated numbers due to that fact.

This is hardly a secret in college football.

I’m a Tulane fan.

With that said, I watch LSU football because of how special Jayden is.

I don’t care about stats. I care about who I want with the ball in their hands on 4th down to make the play. He’s that guy and should be a finalist for that reason.

Daniels lit up the Pac 12 as a true freshman.

This thread is dumb because LSU won't score one point on UGA.

I know he’s been great in conference play but I have no clue how Nix wins with that Georgia game on his resume. Only scored 3 points, 21-37 for 173 2int and no td’s. At least have to lead your team to a couple touchdowns to overlook that mess.

Anything is possible. A lot of football left to play.

He did okay. His passer rating would’ve been middle of the PAC this year. That’s with Aiyuk.

He had one bad throw. Georgia’s secondary were draped over our WR downfield, so I don’t even blame him for that decision.

Williams (USC) 336 tot. yds/game, 32 TDs, 1 INT

And that 1 INT he threw it right into the receivers hands and he flubbed it, tipped it, interception.

If Heisman is about Best/Most Valuable Player to a team...its Williams.

Because USC sucks without him. Their defense is horrific. Their best receivers have been out. He's a one-man show.

Not trying to sound like I’m hating on him, been great besides the Georgia game and I have no clue who deserves to win but has a QB ever won the Heisman with a game on his record where his team scored 3 points?

Without Caleb, USC might have 2-3 wins

Seriously people watch their games..even when they win, they lose the yardage battle. He's running for his life back there. He puts up 41 points and USC can't put fricking Cal away.

Caleb is really good. He won’t go down and he makes some mind numbing throws.

That’s Maye for UanC who has also led his team in rushing in several games as well.

Drake Maye should win the Heisman this year tbh, and frankly if he was on another team, it wouldn't even be a debate.

I could rewrite that for you.
I know he’s been great for most of this year but I have no clue how Hooker wins with that Georgia game on his resume. Only scored 13 points with the lone TD coming in garbage time, 23-33 for 195 1 int and no td’s.

I think a lot of people don't have a problem with throwing out the first game of a season. I don't think most people look at LSU's special teams blundering lost to FSU as a big deal b/c they know if they played again right now LSU would win easily. I don't think anyone thinks UGA would beat the crap out of Oregon like that if they played right now.

One thing that can't be overlooked is Hooker is kind of done for the season. It doesn't matter if he does great in his next 3 games. He plays 3 shite opponents and won't be in the conference championship game. No one will care about him doing well in those 3 games, but they will care if he comes out flat in any of them.

Bo Nix on the other hand is going to play Washington, ranked Utah, ranked OSU, and then probably ranked USC in the PAC Championship game. He has a ton of opportunity to make everyone forget about that 1st game. Hooker really doesn't have anything left to make you forget the UGA game.
Williams at USC is in the same boat, as he has UCLA, Notre Dame and then likely Oregon to show out against.

It matters a whole lot more what you do late in the season than what you do early. People remember the last few games a lot more, and place more significance on them, especially against big opponents. If CJ Stroud torches an undefeated Michigan, his case to win it goes up exponentially. They didn't lose to Northwestern, and no one could throw the ball well in those terrible conditions. He'll get a pass for that game if he continues to play well.
Same goes for Jayden Daniels if he can beat UGA in the SECG, and he continues to perform well against Ar-Kansas and Texas A& can't even make a bowl game.

Really doesn't matter what Drake May does. UNC has played absolutely no one. and the one game they lost, was to a really shitty at that time Notre Dame team, and that game wasn't really a close game despite the 13 point difference at the end of the game. UNC scored two garbage TD's late when they were down 25. And they needed miracles to beat App St and GA State. They are more of a fraud than Syracuse was, and the ACC is barely even a Power 5 conference right now. UNC wouldn't even win the AAC if they played in that conference right now. The one game he was going to have to make a statement would be the ACC championship game against Clemson, but Clemson has lost its luster, and no one will care about that game. The fact that their are 5 ranked teams from that conference is a joke.

I'd add Blake Corum to the mix....he's very good.

I think the invitees will be Stroud, Nix/Williams, Corum (obligatory non-QB invitee), and 1 SEC player. If LSU wins the SEC, it will be Daniels. If not, it will be Hooker.

The Heisman is heavily skewed towards being given to the best player on the best team, not just the best player. With the Georgia loss, I think Hooker starts to drop.
