Says the guy who apparently didn't read the thread either since SabiDojo was the only one to suggest Bert Jones. Idiot.

During one of the Patriots Super Bowl media days they were discussing Tom Brady's arm strength and a reporter asked Bill Belicheck who had the strongest arm he had seen in his 30+ years of coaching. He said without a doubt it's Bert Jones. Bert Jones has said multiple times that the only person he has ever seen with a better arm than him is Jamarcus. So there's that.

You nominated Jamarcus through a story that mentioned Bert Jones. So, technically, you didn't "nominate" Bert Jones.

There was a play against Alabama back in '02 or '03 when we beat them in overtime 16-13 at their place. No one will really remember the play I'm referring too since it was an incomplete pass and was absolutely meaningless but Jamarcus was flushed out of the pocket on a rollout and was pressured pretty heavily. He was right on the goal line when he threw the ball away off of his back foot falling down. It went over Buster Davis' head by about 20 yards. I was sitting on the opposing 30 yard line. That's where the ball landed. On the 28. Off of his back foot. Falling down.

One Bama fan turned to the other right in front of me and said "Did he just flick his wrist and throw the football 70 yards?" HIs buddy looked back at the other end of the field then saw where the ball had landed and simply said "oh my gawd"

I remember when there used to be an NFL quarterback competition in Hawaii every year, Randall Cunningham would usually win the strongest arm contest.

I think these older guys get a little more thought just because no can remember exact details, Jamarcus can throw it farther than anyone I've ever seen. He makes it look too easy also. He never rates back and unloads, it's just a flick. Kinda like Rohan who also had a cannon.

When you say "arm strength" are you referring to ball velocity or how far they can push the ball down the field ?

Cause I know of guys that can push the ball 50-60 yards with ease, and guys that can't, but they have a quicker arm/release and can zip a slant into you at a High speed

that's what I see when watching Kaepernick. And pretty much the same thing with Vick, lots of velocity.
