You're right bc media members shouldn't talk about and give their opinion on huge happenings inside the league they cover. And they especially shouldn't answer direct questions asked of them, most likely at the behest of the company that pays you 3 million dollars a year to give your opinions on everything sports related, especially Boston sports.

In the middle of nba draft coverage isn't one of them IMO
I'm not disputing Simmons opinion at all. I'm disputing where it began.
Simmons can go on any Espn platform he chooses and discuss this. I just think its frankly beneath him to do it on a night that those kids have waited their life for
