Retarded is a correct word, but honestly it makes more sense for masks to be enforced uniformly to EVERYONE in the gym as opposed to selectively enforcing it on all but the players.

Of the 3 faces of the players that we can see in the picture....all 3 have the mask pulled below their nose...might as well not even wear them. All about optics...but it’s pure stupidity.

As the dad of a middle schooler that plays basketball, allow me to answer.
Depends on who is playing.
All black schools play with masks. Not kidding. White schools there's not a mask to be seen anywhere.
In 2022, seeing someone wearing a mask is like seeing a MAGA hat, only reverse.

I saw many wearing masks last season. As pointed out earlier in the thread, all were black. I haven’t seen a white player wearing a mask.
