Palmiero. He also has 500+ homers. However, every non steroid linked individual with 500 and/or 3000 is in the Hall.

If he didn't play for the Yankees he might not

What kind of question is this?

Biggio got 68.2% of the votes last year. Unless something pops up linking him to PEDs, he's a lock to get in this year.

Pretty sure Pedro's 1999 season is the best season ever for a pitcher.
1999 wasn't even his best season. 2000 was: ERA of 1.74, 7 CGs, 4 shutouts, ERA+ of 291, HP9 of 5.3, and a WHIP of .737 - which is the best in baseball history.

Both were great, but he was better in 1999 IMO. More fortunate in 2000 (hundred point lower BABIP and 10% higher strand rate).
1999: 13.2 K/9, 1.56 BB/9, .38 HR/9, 1.39 FIP
2000: 11.8 K/9, 1.33 BB/9, .71 HR/9, 2.17 FIP

I'll take the lower ERA and the lower WHIP than all of that. 1.74 ERA in 2000. Let that sink in.
ETA: And the better ERA+.
So in 2000, Pedro had the best WHIP in history and the second best ERA+ in history.
Pretty sure it's clear cut that 2000 was his best season.

I guess you aren't familiar with Sandy Koufax.

Pedro's peak was better and longer than Koufax's

No, that's ludicrous.

Better? No. Longer, sure but the question is performance during a player's prime not the duration of it.

Pedro was more dominant in relation to his peers at his peak than Koufax was...Koufax peaked in the mid sixties in a pitcher dominated era, Pedro put up comparable numbers in the late nineties/early 2000s, the height of the steroid era

Look up Lefty Grove's peak and the era it happened. 31-4, 2.06 ERA in 1931 when AL batted .279, had 4 or 5 years mostly like that

The thing most impressive about Grove is that he managed to win four ERA titles as a left-handed pitcher playing his home games at Fenway Park. It's incredibly difficult to be successful as a LHP pitching in Fenway Park due to the Green Monster. And Grove did it after having major arm problems which greatly reduced his pitching velocity. It just shows you how great Grove was to be able to pitch at a very high level despite all those factors working against him.

Literally the best pitcher I've ever seen.

He most likely wouldn't have close to that many hits if he played for say the ROyals

Dumbest question ever asked on here; of course he does and easily.

Pedro is first ballot easily. As far as peak for Pedro against Maddux, I only have one question. If it was Game 7 of the WS and you got 100% peak from both pitchers for that game, who would you give the ball to? My answer is easily Pedro.

No doubt, I still remember game 5 of the 1999 ALDS when Pedro came on in relief and pitched 6 no hit innings and struck out like 10 on the road against an Indians team that scored 1000 runs in the regular season. Prime Pedro
