I think he was part of a conspiracy. He tanked on purpose and shaved points.

He's just mad because I made a gay joke about Chris Bosh earlier.

I don't hate Lebron. I think he is one of the best players in the league right now. I just think he has a greater potential and those "flaws' I mentioned are preventing him, so far, from being the best, or one of the best, ever.

Depends on what I am judging him on. It matters because I have a sense of what Lebron could be (and has shown flashes of being), but he seems to lack that internal drive to care enough to be the absolute best. I just wish he had it. Having said that, he is still a great player and arguably the best in the league right now.

I made a small joke in another thread about the rumors that Bosh is gay and he got angry with me. So now he is attacking my post in this thread without understanding the question that I was responding to.

No, and honestly, that should have a worse effect (and I think it has) on his public perception than just playing poorly.

He needs the killer instinct that star players need. He looked like he was to afraid to try to take over the game and was content on not having the ball in his hands. If your going to make statements that your going to win 7 championships you need to take control in the NBA finals. Everyone knows he has the physical tools to do it too.

I think you are judging his psyche on his demeanor and you aren't giving Dallas enough credit. Just because an otherwise talented player loses, it doesn't mean he lacks a killer instinct. Fact is if 2 great player who had never won the big one get matched up and they both possessed a killer instinct, one of them is still going to lose.. Hell, do you think Dale Earnhardt didn't have a killer instinct until he proved it by winning the Daytona 500 on his 20th attempt? Hell no. Because he was a proven winner in everything except the big one. LeBron is, to a large extent, at the mercy of his teammates but seems to shoulder all of the blame.

I disagree. HE wanted to be the BILLION dollar athelete. HE HAS failed so far. HE should have been the GO TO GUY, and yet he is passing off on VERY important times in crucial moments. RETHINK what you posted.

You would have a point if Lebron had asserted himself at all during crunch time in the finals. It is not that he was bested by someone else, it's that he became mostly invisible and was content to defer to his teammates.

Occasional deferal can be a good quality and demonstrate a high basketball IQ. However, Lebron totally deferred at almost every turn in the finals. He shrunk from the moment. I didn't see Dallas do anything special defensively that should keep someone of Lebron's caliber from being a primary part of crunch time during 6 finals games.

I'm happy for you GHAZI. You've predicted dallas to win it as long as i've been on this board, and they finally got it. Dirk and Dallas both deserve this title. Enjoy it.

I think he tried his hardest and got frustrated with the team defense that Dallas played.

I think everyone is giving Lebron too much blame and Dallas not enough credit

Dallas outplayed and outcoached the Heat in every aspect of the game. Untill Miami finds an offensive identity, they will lose to the better "teams" of the NBA. Imo

GTFO - LeBron wanted to go to a place where he could win championships and get help doing it. He took less salary to play with Bosh and Wade in Miami and the he agreed to another salary re-structure that would allow the Heat to re-sign Udonis Haslem. He also forfeited a ton of endorsement money by choosing the Heat over The Knicks, Nets and Bulls who all had the cap space to sign him. You are obviously blinded by your hate for the man.
