Doesn't seem to be a problem in Tallahassee tonight.

The op forgot to mention which conference game it was. Kansas. Who wants to watch that?
the same can be said for LSU's entire home schedule up to this point

Yeah, but every game I have seen lately has had a weak crowd. Its not a problem, it is just reality.
LSU could not have picked a worse time to expand.
They should've built a luxury packed 70,000 seat stadium with all the bells and whistles and dynamited Tiger Stadium. People demand more of their entertainment dollar now, if you want to rival the home watching experience, you need to make the stadium experience better and worth the money.

This FSU game is fun. Loud and excited fans- the way Tiger Stadium used to be.

To make DKR being half empty against a conference opponent even worse, the game was on the LHN so it's not like anyone could watch it on TV.

Kansas has 2 conference wins since the 2008 season and hasn't won a conference game since 2010 against Colorado.

Yeah but the BYU loss broke them beyond repair
Kind of like how being the only team to beat Auburn this year so far just ruined the season for the Tiger faithful, because we should've played better in the 2nd half?

you people praising fsu are cracking me up...you dont think Tiger Stadium wouldnt be crazy if we were undefeated this late in the season playing a top 10 rival team?
also, fsu wasnt coming close to filling up home games until after the clemson game.

In most cases, the stadiums are sold out but people don't show up, so it's not a price issue. Makes me believe other viewing alternatives are becoming more attractive. Pretty nice to sit at home with a few select friends, food and drink galore, game on 60" HD flatscreen with other games on other HD screens around the house. Every play is easilt seen from multiple angles and my arse fits perfectly in a nice recliner rather than 5 inches of a metal bench.
I love a good tailgate and game atmosphere, but watching from home is becoming more and more appealing. At the current price point, even poor folks like me can afford a nice big HD tv.

I just remember going to the 1996 Sugar Bowl (de facto national championship game) between Florida and FSU and I could not give away really good tickets. They may fill their stadium, but they don't travel for shite.

More and more stadiums and arenas will stop selling out as the economic recovery continues to flourish. Think we may be getting to the price points of too much money to see the games???
This is the truth.

I'm too used to the movie board. I read this as Dark Knight Rises. I was confused and clicked.
Doesn't excuse fans for leaving in the third quarter of a close conference game.
If this whole economy excuse was true, Tiger Stadium would look like it did in the 90's. I could excuse 85% capacity. You have season tickets, but you can't go to every game, no one on stub hub wants them, I get it. But the economy and ticket prices have NOTHING to do with 3rd quarter exits in close games.

TV, coupled with the cost to attend games, is the number one issue here, and not just at LSU.
I think LSU has an additional issue in that they tailgate better than anyone. Just a fact. I've seen many times where people got too drunk at the tailgate and said , "screw it, I'll watch it here, who wants my tickets" and people who do go into the game who say "this games in the bag, I've lost my buzz, let's go back to the tailgate, get a beer, and watch the rest there.
They need to sell beer and they need a system for SRO tix. And before you say they can't, they can. Tulane does it. Hell, in certain areas, Tiger Stadium already does it.
