They are discreet, easy, and get you really high for longer periods of time.
Stopped at the dispensary before my 4 day tour of Napa Valley a couple weeks ago. Highly recommended.

Because it's a different high. And some people don't like inhaling things into their lungs. And they aren't meant to make you higher. People just eat too much because it's food.

I wish I could do it. When I was young I loved it but then I got way too uptight when I smoked. I could never take a road trip and get really baked. I'd pull a Dion Waiters probably.

No. Not in the “you’re gonna die” sense.
High levels of THC can trigger underlying health issues though. Read about a couple of cases in my substance use class where it raised someone’s BP, causing a stroke. But they already had pre-existing high BP that was uncontrolled. Or triggered psychosis, especially if you’re not prepared for what you’re getting hit with.
There’s also the question of what did he take and what else it was mixed with. Similar to all of the recent vaping issues where black market THC cartridges were cut with Vitamin E.
