Detroit's gotta be a tough one.

I'd guess:

Red Wings > Lions > Tigers > Pistons

But I'm not particularly certain about any of that.

Phoenix: Suns - Cardinals - Diamondbacks - Coyotes

Suns are by far #1. We have so many transplants from everywhere else in the country that the Cardinals and Diamondbacks are secondary teams for a decent amount of our fans if that makes sense. Then we have bandgwagon Laker fans like lsu480 (just kidding!)

If the D'Backs could develop some kind of identity they could push the Cardinals to get back to #2.

Chicago- Bears > Cubs

I may be wrong but I always thought the cubs ruled chicago sports.
I know they love the bears but are they really more popular than the cubs?

Not surprising. I think they've been in Phoenix longer than the other three combined. Almost. Maybe 3 years ago.

i've heard Knicks>NYY. NYC is the basketball mecca of the world and a good Knicks team would run that city imo.

No they won't. If the Yankees are winning, they will always be the front page sports story in New York. Does anybody in New York hold the same reverence for Walt Frazier and Willis Reed like they do for Mickey Mantle and Joe Dimaggio or heck even a Don Mattingly? Baseball has always ruled New York save for a very brief period in the early '90s when both the Mets and Yankees were down.

All things equal, it's Texans>Astros>Rockets.

I remember this thread from this time last year. Phoenix guy confirmed my assertion that the Suns are definitely No. 1.

Growing up in Boston I would say
Boston: Red Sox > Bruins > Celtics > Patriots

Even before Orr the Bruins sold out and still to.
When thee Celtics won all those Titles with Russell it was still harder to get a ticket for the Bruins.
The Pats went years without any interest until Brady.
