Thought so too until his interview on ESPN with John Kinkaid a few weeks ago.

He's trying to sell us that refereeing is their job, but they don't make enough money, so they have to have other jobs.

I'd be fully on the ref's side if it wasn't for that absolute politician like spin. Guy sounded like a total tool.

Exactly, the issue now is that the replacement guys aren't competent enough for the NFL. Just knowing simple rules are blowing their minds right now.

Sure they are trying hard and all that, doesn't take away from the fact that they just can't do it.
