Yeah, this doesn't help.
The 2011 Finals matter a lot in the "who's the greatest ever" context
Jordan would NEVER have done that.

Imagine Dwight and Lebron
Imagine any of the Western Conference superstars on a East team..

Ok I did...
None of those teams really get into title contention territory except for the Bulls and the Cavs I guess. Hawks? Wizards?
The West is so much better than the east because so many of the top West teams are deep as hell. Same can't be said for the East. Upgrading your best player while maintaining depth is what would make these hypothetical Lebron West teams all but title locks, whereas replacing the number 1 guy with Durant or Curry, but still lacking depth doesn't do much to improve title chances for many of the East teams.
ETA: The cavs actually get worse in this hypo if you consider LeBron to be the current best player in the league.

Jordan was fmvp EVERY SINGLE TIME his team made the finals. He didn't set or raise the bar, he IS the bar.

I think lots of people don't really get how huge Jordan's impact was on the game. It's not really something you can get from Youtube clips showing games that happened before you were old enough to know what was going on. Teams based their entire strategy around keeping Jordan away from the ball and/or the hoop. A surprising number of people don't even know what the "Jordan Rules" were. For some odd reason, they believe it refers to special treatment for Jordan. It did...just not in the way they think. It was the Piston's strategy revolving around doing everything possible to shut Jordan down, from double and triple-teaming him, to hitting him with the most physical play they could (or couldn't, if they were getting desperate) get away with in an attempt to knock him off his game. It's just not the same with James. Teams respect the hell out of him, but they don't fear him like they feared Jordan.

Did MJ ever go to another team with two big stars on it? Nope he stayed on the Bulls and kept winning instead of looking for the easy rings.

Ah yes. The good ol its better to lose in the conference finals instead of the nba finals argument
You miss the point; Getting to the Finals from the shitty East shouldn't be a surprise for LBJ as he's an all-timer. He's gotta finish though to be considered the GOAT. Three times so far he hasn't. It was seconds away from 4 times until Ray Allen bailed him out.
Of course it's better to make the Finals than to not. For the 2 years before MJ made it to the Finals, Detroit beat him and won both NBA Finals. The East was strong then. So when MJ did get through a tough East, he also didn't lose to the West. And it's not like LBJ hasn't lost a playoffs before the Finals either.

MJ played on loaded rosters for most of his career.

LeBron played on horseshite teams for half of his career.
And couldn't get it done so he formed a super team and still lost his first Finals with them. That super team was seconds away from only winning 1 title. 2 losses with those teams.

Lebron has accomplished things that MJ wasn't capable of
You mind sharing what a couple of those things are?

As of today, MJ is the GOAT. His GOAT status, however, isn't set in stone. Let's enjoy watching LeBron in the mean time.
Agreed 100%.

Lebron has disappeared and wilted at times in big games. No GOAT can do that in crunch time following MJs 6-0 with 6 FMVPs. I think lebron's legacy will be tarnished by that when it comes to the GOAT argument. Plus MJ never had to deal with twitter blasting out what a douche he was at the time he was becoming the GOAT. MJ is the GOAT.

Yep, it's the biggest argument against him. His first Finals you can understand, but 2011 was bad.

Social media is a blessing and a curse. With or without it though, there no denying who the GOAT is; Michael Air Jordan

Not mad...sad.
Sad for you and how shitty it has to be to constantly worry about propping up a guy that doesn't even know you exist to a bunch of strangers on a message board.
