no what I said all year long was that the Cavs had the best chance to knock off GSW while others were saying the Spurs, OKC, etc were all better than CLE. Steph during the regular season WAS the best player in the league. Lebron at 100% is easily better than a 70% Steph, no one will argue that. If Steph doesn't get hurt and is 100% for the playoffs they win in 5 games at absolute most and then most everyone is saying Steph is the best player.

Holy cop out batman!

Keep dreaming bro Lebron was clearly the best player in the finals.

If Steph was at 100% he would've been finals MVP.

He had the best season. He at no time was ever a better player than Lebron.

Yeah for 82 games he was a better player than Lebron. Why are some of you splitting hairs over this? It's quite comical.

Yep.

If we haven't realized at this point that Lebron uses the regular season as just a tune up for the playoffs, we never will.

I fell into the trap during the season as well, but it's not really up for debate any more, the question of who the best player in the league is.

Steph just averaged a ppg per 36 minutes of 31.7

Lebron's highest ppg per 36 in his career is 27.4 and that was his last year in the land before the decision when he played for the heat behind the wade.

Dud,who do you think was saying ALL YEAR that CLE was the team with the best chance to knock off GSW? While SPurs tards here were calling them an all time team and saying they were gonna beat the Warriors or put up the best fight.

if you want to get more technical, lebron was mvp of 2011-2012 season which is technically same year as well as 2011 nba finals. comical how short sighted some of you lebronies are.

Now you're just trying to save face for being incompetent.

Well that's not a cherry-picked stat at all.

pretty rational stat that shows how great of a season steph had. he just wasn't his regular season self in finals for whatever the reason being.

I only said that because you were so adamant that Houston was waiting to turn it on in the playoffs.

Lebron would be foolish to wear himself out ALL regular season at this point in his career. I'm not saying he coasts, but he doesn't put his head down and go full throttle 100% of the time, especially on defense. When it matters, he's still easily the best player on the planet, though. You'd be crazy to think otherwise.

Yes they did turn it on, it wasn't good enough though to beat GSW though.
