I was surprised that his totals were low even compared to other MVPs. MVPs are really freakin' good

I love getting technical. Rose was awarded the MVP in the year 2011. Lebron was awarded the MVP in the year 2012.

extremely flagrantly wrong. His MVP status is backdated to the start of season which was same year as 2011 nba finals where he humiliated himself with a 17.8 more ppg. that's only 17.8 more points than what I averaged in those finals without stepping on the court.

I was going to ask. I had no idea who won it in 2011 but figured it couldn't have been LBJ based on the comments

Rose was awarded the MVP on May 3.
2011 Finals started on May 31.
Therefore, at the time of the 2011 NBA Finals, Derrick Rose was the NBA MVP.

Technical.

yes ignore the 82 games that led to the postseason and the fact that an MVP had been named from those 82 games.

It is incredible how pathetic you have continued to be on this board.

Your trolling is terrible.

I'd say when Curry can't shake Kevin Love when hes got him iso'd on the perimeter he may be a weee bit banged up.

Has he given credit to LeBron yet or still looking for every excuse to hate on LeBron and LeBron fans?

Nah he's had a few good things to say, but he'll never come all the way around to the dark side.

He didn't run away, but he did double down on his ridiculous Jordan insecurity, which is worse I find. It's sad.

Poor shot selection and poor decisions all around is why he sucked it up in the Finals. Trying to throw dumbass cute passes & shooting from half court caught up to him.

I'm sure his confidence/ego was still flying high from knocking down 400+ 3's in the reg season from damn near anywhere on the court but when it isn't working you have to adjust.

Nothing wrong with throwing regular chest/bounce passes and stepping up to the line to get a better shot when a title is up for grabs.

I don't know whether to yell at you for derailing my thread, or thank you for getting it to multiple pages, which it undoubtedly would not have made otherwise

He'll be back next year so we can tell if it was just a fluke or an ongoing occurrence.
