Jake? He already fought a real boxer and lost.

And not even sure I'd call Fury a "real" boxer, to be honest.

An mma fight will be very interesting because Jake does have an amateur background in wrestling, but Nate's submission game is in another universe than Jake's.

It would not be interesting at all, at least the fight wouldn't be.

See how long Paul lasts in a legit MMA fight, Jake his doing his thing and making money, but most from the UFC would destroy him in that type of fight.

You’re calling about people for not giving him the credit he deserves while at the same time saying he’s not legit. Lol

Make better points next time

Some of y'all are getting way too offended by these comments about Diaz. We know he's a tough sob, but y'all saw those punches he threw and they were weak af lol

Doesn't that kill your argument then?

Nope

Every fight Paul has had, the MSB is overwhelmingly certain that Paul will lose. THAT is my point.

There was another thread a couple of days ago with overwhelming picks that Diaz would win. Again, that alone proves my point.

It's absurd that 75% would think Diaz would win this fight he had very little chance to win.

Right, if anyone started a thread 4-5 years ago, saying that a guy who was famous for a relatively small Disney channel show, one of the most hated rap songs ever released, running through a mall during the George Floyd riots, and annoying the shite out of his neighbors for running a mansion full of YouTube influencers that violated every noise ordinance in the book, would one day beat multiple well-known UFC fighters in boxing matches, they would have been laughed out of the MSB and gotten downvoted more than someone flaming Political Talk with pro-Biden memes.

No one is claiming Jake Paul is the next Sugar Ray Leonard or Roy Jones Jr

Paul lost to a low low low level pro boxer and lost.

An mma fighter on that same level would crush Paul

And on top of that, while it's very slowly showing a little less with each fight on the MSB, that thought is still there right now, not just 4-5 years ago.

That's why it's rather obvious he doesn't get respect deserves, while also being a well below average boxer.

Exactly. I don't know why it's so hard to give the guy some credit, and I don't see where going 10 rounds with a Nate Diaz disproves anything.

It's like saying Kron Gracie doesn't have MMA skills because he's sucked against UFC fighters. People seem incapabe of considering nuance.
