Social distancing will be encouraged but not enforced. Seems kinda tone-deaf and irresponsible.

So do protest with 100's of participants, but it's a sliding scale apparently.

Even still, stay on your own 4 wheeler, or keep your distance, and I see no issue with it. Indoor transmission is more of a concern than outdoor activities, according to our "leaders".

Is this in Tampa or Springhill?

I don't think you've been to too many small town parades in the area where White grew up. It won't be "country" like I think you mean.

So it's ok to get pissed at protests but not this trail ride?

You're using a sliding scale just like the people who claim the protests don't spread COVID.

Just like with cancel culture, you have to be against it on all levels if you're really against it.

The ride is apparently in Cotton Valley. The mayor basically said, "hey, he's throwing a party. We're letting him. You wanna go, it's on you."

Society needs more if this. Get out. Live your life. Nothings going to happen to healthy people.

frick off, individual choice still exist in this country. Why are people so hell bent on controlling others if they don’t agree? Don’t wanna go? Don’t fricking go, for those that do let them go and have no issue with it.

What makes you think I'm pissed at either?

Our "leaders" are hypocrites, for supporting 1 vs the other, but I am not.

Rioters piss me off. Peaceful protesters do not. And for the most part, Houston's protest have been peaceful. And I am not concerned about Covid in either scenario.

Eta: Houston's mayor has been a hypocritical POS during this entire outbreak. That is who I am referring to.

More people are pissed at the free pass protests get from the shut it down crowd in comparison to other activities. But you know that already.

Talk about missing the point.

I think most people that have issues with what's been going on don't have issues with the protests themselves, rather the obvious double standard that they are being given, especially considering that most of the ideas/demands associated with the protests are pretty fricking stupid.
