They had a legit rotation of NBA players who had been in the league for a few years.

Only can say this with hindsight. This time last year there wasn’t an analyst on earth picking the Kings to finish ahead of the Suns. Quickly saw that Fox made all those guys better. 4 years later and I don’t know a player that has benefited from playing with Booker.

How many Phoenix Suns games have you watched in the last two years? Go ahead and invent a number so I can call you out for lying.

Settle down. I’m not saying anything controversial. Just that Devin Booker isn’t a winning basketball player. He’ll make all star games and put up good stats. But if he’s your best player then you aren’t going anywhere.

So you've watched zero Suns basketball? Sounds like you definitely know what you're talking about.

The Suns are a disease. They ruin everything. Booker will demand a trade and be on an All-NBA team when he leaves. Watch.

You think being a Suns fan makes you a believable source?

I watch more NBA than any reasonable person should. I’ve played DFS for the last 5 years. In multiple season long leagues, including 2 dynasties. I’ve seen plenty of Suns games. Booker is the most ball dominant player in the league besides Westbrook imo. He plays no defense. He’s been called out for being the biggest trash talker in the league. He carries himself like he’s a superstar and he plays for the worst team in the league. And now he’s mad that people are playing too tough of defense on him in a pickup game. He’s a loser. A homeless man’s James Harden/Melo type.

Did James Harden die or something?

Didn’t mean it in a good way. For better or worse, Harden is running the Houston offense (and is a top 5 passer in the league). Guys like Booker and Westbrook are freezing out their teammates.

Devin Booker is bad because he didn't get Mose Schrute and Isaiah Canaan involved more?

Ayton only had a 21.2 usage rate, which is too low for a guy with a .608 TSP.

That was as much the Suns lack of direction as Booker, though. Booker isn't a great distributor, but the Suns system wasn't exactly helping him last year.

Booker is an above average distributor. He's not a PG though. Bottom line is Booker had to do pretty much everything on offense until Kelly got there. Ayton can't do anything himself yet.

Nobody is arguing that he’s bad.

why does booker say he's there to work on his game, then follows up by saying he sees doubles all season. isnt that working on his game?

I kind of agree with Devin Booker. He's probably there to work on very specific parts of his game and these guys are going full court press to "stop the NBA guy".

Meanwhile guys are getting hurt (i.e. boogie) because they are "sacking up".

Its practice essentially.

exactly. There are unwritten rules to open run pro games.

Don't really challenge guys at the rim on drives

No hard Zaza Pachulia like closeouts on shooters

No double teams

No undercutting on rebounds or drives

No hard fouls

NBA players don't want to play pickup with rec league dudes trying to claim their glory by being the overzealous "try-hard" guy.
