with 3250 and has slim chance of breaking pistol Pete’s record of 3667
Of course he’s played in 131 games to pistols 83 and with a 3 pt line

I mean Kids playing 5 full years.

Pete’s PPG is going to be untouchable.

How many years has he played? Pete did that in three years with no three point shots.

Good for him and it gets people talking about Pete so win/win.

This is one of those asterisk things. Not because it's not impressive, but because the rules are different.

Yeah it's extremely unlikely he catches Pete, but this kid has every possible advantage. Playing his 5th year, has a 3 point line, and plays no one in a bad conference. If he were to somehow pull it off, it would be extremely cheap. Not because he hasn't done anything impressive, as you said, but just in terms of the record chase.

It’s kind of amazing to think he’s 2nd all-time behind only Pete while averaging almost 20 PPG a game less.

If Pistol had a 3-PT Line

But his average would possibly be even more than 57, since he would have taken more 3s.

What does he have to average?

Looks like it’d be 34.7 ppg for final 12 games

Years later, former LSU coach Dale Brown charted every college game Maravich played. With the three-point line, Brown calculated that Pete would have made 13 3-pointers per game and had a career scoring average of 57 points per game.

Mr. Davis is not in the same class as Pete Maravich. Give Pete a 3 point line and four seasons to play…my God !
