i guess i dont get why so many people are laughing at atlanta. the browns came in at the last minute and offered a 230 million dollar, fully guaranteed, deal. i get why atlanta probably walked away at that point

I'm glad the Steelers got their QB situation handled early in the week.

This isn’t really an example of that

Watson actually told Cleveland they were out of the running after they met. Then Cleveland after this baker drama, came back to the table at the last minute and basically doubled everyone else’s guaranteed offers and locked it up.

Every dollar of Deshaun Watson’s new five-year, $230 million deal is guaranteed, per sources, setting a new record for the highest guarantee given to an NFL player. @Browns and Watson’s agent @DavidMulugheta combine to make history.

So all these years of accusing Big Ben of being a rapist and now Browns fans embrace Watson.

Eh, I don't know how many of them are "embracing" this.

A lot of Browns fans online over the last few days weren't happy about Watson even being contacted.

His PR team and agents exploited the hell out of a hometown hero storyline for a team that needs some life in the worst way, just to leverage it for money and go to fricking Cleveland. Atlanta sports media was about ready to hang the banners.

Im laughing equally at Cleveland for paying that money. And frick it , the saints for wasting so much time, but at least we didn’t get played as bad. The whole situation was ridiculous.
