Anybody see the 1 washing out going into the gate? I knew I was in trouble. Wish Rosie would have gotten there. She made a great move taking her to the rail. Oh well. Hopefully i got all of the losing out of my system today..

Well, the morning was good to me but the afternoon wiped out my gains. Let's hope tomorrow is better.

btw, just hit a random $2 win at Hollywood park on my phone. 9-1 that almost makes up for all the hits I took today.

hopefully tomorrow is better. bottle of wine and handicapping all night once I get back to Shreve.

Aspy, Rohan, Bho, help me out here.
I never bet boxes and always do straight trifectas. I know the payout for the tri is a percentage of the pool and how much i wager.
My question is, let's say i put 5.00 on a straight trifecta and 30.00 on a trifecta box with the same horses. How different would the payout be on a trifecta vs the tri box? roughly

yay!!! i didn't get yelled at yet

seriously, when he asked me if i wanted him to stay here i told him i wasn't going to answer because i didn't want it to be my fault if he was miserable. he doesn't have much to work with at this new place.

yay on random pick!!! boo on me only having $25 left in my twinspires account. looks like i may be hitting up otb after all.

i doubt there is much difference, but i'm not exactly sure of the payout.

and honestly, you're much better off betting a few different trifectas.. wagering more money on the combos you think have a better chance of hitting and less money on the less likely ones (same 3 horses, obviously). much more effective way of betting as you have less wasted money on extreme improbabilities, IMO.

i'm a chicken shite so i always box

so far i'm sticking with arch and i'm pretty sure i'll throw in dialed in just in case he's what zito says. i also am going to use mucho

looking at also shackleford, pants on fire (liked how rosie rode the oaks), maybe animal kingdom, maybe moh, maybe twinspired, and (make fun all you want) brilliant speed.

now to start cutting horses

also, i will put my $2 bet on twinspired because he's grey. the ONLY time i didn't do this i was in line for otb and my dad called to have me put $20 on buzzards bay for him. i didn't have enough with me and had to drop a few. my grey bet was one i dropped and i was flooded with phone calls that night asking how much i won on giacomo

learned my lesson
