He obviously did it for marketing reasons. Big difference between NY and SD

But I'm sure the MSB draft experts are correct that he's a day 3 pick

quote:

ESPN's Matt Miller cited on AFC scouting director who ranked the junior as the third-best draft-eligible QB on the board.

"I had no idea he could spin it like that," the team official said. "You saw him against small-school dudes before Colorado, but he came in dealing, and his poise in the pocket really impressed me. He would be in the QB3 conversation this year if he came out."

That aligns with what Miller reported on Dec. 5 when he wrote that "many NFL scouts agree the Colorado quarterback is right below" USC's Caleb Williams and North Carolina's Drake Maye.

“Shedeur Sanders, to me right now, is a guaranteed high first-round pick,” Kiper said on “Monday Blitz,” per On3. “I think when you look at the way he’s played at Colorado, in this Sean Lewis offense, the accuracy has been unbelievable. He was at 68 percent at Jackson State those two years. He’s at 77.5 (percent at Colorado). Hasn’t thrown an interception. He had nine rushing touchdowns in two years at Jackson State. He can roll right or left. He can make accurate throws. He throws a great ball. He’s unflappable. He looks like he’s in control at all times. You don’t know if they’re up or down, how they’re performing. It doesn’t matter.”

“If he stays at Colorado, we’ll be talking about him next summer like we’re talking about Caleb Williams right now – No. 1 pick guaranteed,” Kiper said. “So he’s got a decision to make. We’ve gotta be excited with everything we’ve seen right now, with not only this football team, but particularly Shedeur Sanders. What a quarterback he is.”

Yeah, unless he gets injured, I think he's a lock 1st rounder. He has a good arm, decent size and is a plus athlete. His arm is really solid. He's gotten great coaching and training for years. Sanders has put the best people around him to get him ready. All of that really matters. Colorado should be a bowl team, in a weak conference. So, he'll get a lot of media attention again. Plus, super weak QB crop next year and there will be a bunch of QB needy teams. Great situation for him.

I think he should have left this year though. He wouldn't have gone as early (late 1st or 2nd), with the surgery. But I wouldn't have risked another year in that system. He is expected to do too much, and it leaves him exposed to a lot of punishment...

Possibly, but McCarthy might be a top 10 pick so anythings possible. That ones blowing my mind.

Very fair point. He got destroyed last year. That needs to change.

And ironically Boulder is cold af. Dude's shitting on his own situation and can't even see it. True prime comment.
Deion is a grade A dumbass. He was born with so much god given talent it overcame his stupidity. I’ll be happy when this dude is a thing of the past. Hopefully he hangs it up when his sons are done in college. He’s nothing but a cheerleader.

Robert Griffin III responds to Deion Sanders saying Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter will pull Eli Mannings to avoid playing in certain cities when they get drafted.

Travis Hunter has leverage. Shedeur does not.

So cold weather cities shouldn’t bother fielding teams now? Teams that have been on hard times for years? Where does it end?

I went years without watching the NFL and my life wasn't impacted in the slightest. I don't watch the NBA at all anymore.

All pro sports could disappear tomorrow and no fan's life would substantially change except finding a new show to watch on Sundays. There's plenty of entertainment options to choose from these days.
